by: Alex Kack

Former Blink-182 guitarist and 2017 UFO Researcher of the Year, Tom Delonge, recently announced a new business venture which will focus on researching and developing alternatively powered spacecraft designed to go farther into space then humans currently have.

The initiative, called 'To The Stars Art & Science Academy', is currently seeking investors and advisors. DeLonge has announced a team attached to the corporation that includes members of the military and intelligence community as well as a variety of scientists, physicists and engineers.

According to the companies website they have so far raised over $1.9 million. Aside from spacecraft the company plans to invest in research regarding brain – computer interface technology, satellites, and telepathy.

Playing to his strength's DeLonge has also included an entertainment division to the sprawling start-up, that is set to produce books, documentary films and other media to help explain the company works and raise awareness of their goals.

DeLonge has long been interested in space and specifically the hunt for extraterrestrial life, committing a significant amount of time and personal resources to it. Last year communications between him and John Podesta were leaked to the public after Podesta and several other members of Hillary Clintons campaign staff's email accounts were hacked. The emails contained information on the work the two men were engaged in researching UFO's.

As of now no dates have been announced publicly for the work to begin, updates will be reported on.

Originally brought to the market in 1890 by the inventor Elijah Bond, and popularized as a tool for contacting spirits in the 1910’s by Pearl Curran, a writer from St. Louis. Ouija boards have often been the subject of public fear, and many relgious denominations to this day, advocate against their use. While the name ‘Ouija’ is now a trademark of Hasbro, Inc, the boards are produced and used by many people around the world today, and have been a hallmark of science fiction, fantasy and horror entertainment. Despite this long history and fame little is known, and nothing proven factually about how the boards truly work. A...
